Who we are. EPPIXX TRANSPORT LTD (Company No. 10631885), 12 Damien Close, Chatham, ME4 4XE, is the data controller for the details you send through this site.
What we collect
Your contact details, date of birth, National Insurance number, address, emergency contact, right-to-work information, driving licence details and photos, DBS information, experience, availability, self-employed details, an optional reference and anything else you choose to tell us.
Why we use it
- To assess your application for a self-employed subcontractor opportunity and contact you about it.
- To carry out checks you agree to: driving licence, right to work in the UK and DBS.
- To meet our legal obligations (for example right-to-work checks) and our insurers’ requirements.
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in recruiting safe, reliable drivers.
How we protect it
Your answers and documents are encrypted as soon as you press Send. This website can store them but cannot read them – only our office can open them. Access is limited to the people who handle recruitment.
How long we keep it
If your application is not successful, we delete it within 6 months. If you start working with us, the details move to your driver file and are kept for as long as we work together and as the law requires afterwards.
Who we share it with
Only where needed: the bodies that carry out the checks you agree to (for example DBS), our insurers and, where the law requires, authorities. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them. Contact us through the office number or e-mail you were given, or write to the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
